Fendi

Labour of love Fendi was started in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi and brought up by their five daughters, but it wasn't until Karl Lagerfeld took the reigns that the house became a front runner. Lagerfeld launched the house's first ready-to-wear lines in 1977, bringing refined glamour for women and impeccably tailored classics for men.

Lagerfeld remains the biggest player at Fendi: the living legend designed their logo and staged a fashion show on the Great Wall of China in 2007

The house is known for producing it-bags for fashionistas and Carrie Bradshaw-wannabes to fawn over, always adorned with their iconic double-F logo. Lagerfeld remains the biggest player at Fendi: the living legend designed their logo and staged a fashion show on the Great Wall of China in 2007. The man clearly knows how to sell the fantasy!
