I-Master uses an Oracle database running on the Solaris operating system for maximum performance and reliability. It supports Cisco and Quintum equipment via the RADIUS protocol as well as SIP and MGCP to ensure compatibility with most softswitch and media gateway solutions.

Specifically, it interfaces with SIP or H.323 and provides the foundation for carriers to leverage RADIUS protocol for (AAA) functions without displacing existing billing and authentication applications.
