Verso's VCLEAR™ Back Office solution simplifies the management of Verso's Distributed Softswitch platforms by integrating provisioning, routing, reporting, calling card management and billing in a single, powerful tool, enabling service providers to expand their service offerings and rate plans to create new opportunities for revenue generation.

Efficient and Flexible Control

Verso's VCLEAR™ Back Office solution is specifically designed to monitor and control carrier's VoIP networks. The system oversees all traffic onthe network, allowing efficient route management, monitoring account status, and tracking billing. Rates and routes to and from various interconnect carrier networks can be updated dynamically, and multiple rate plans are easily supported. Verso's Back Office solution also provides PIN generation for pre-paid cards and corporate accounts and a Web interface that enables customers to check account balances.

Multilevel Provisioning Module

Verso VCLEAR™ Back Office solution offers enhanced provisioning of all subscribers and endpoints at the customer, reseller or carrier level. It supports management of postpaid and prepaid subscribers with SIP/MGCP endpoints, and it provides telephone number administration at the endpoint level.

Routing Module

The system provides route management organized according to resellers, or other groups. It offers ASR-programmable monitoring for interconnect carrier networks. ASR reports can be delivered to network administrators via e-mail for analyzing route efficiency.

Billing Module

Verso VCLEAR™ Back Office solution offers extensive billing flexibility, including OSS integration, subscriber management, rate provisioning, endpoint and account generation, and more, enabling carriers to offer a wide variety of rate plans. Billing can be managed at the customer, reseller, and carrier levels for both inbound and outbound calls. Individual account management covers debits, credits, payments, additional services, and invoice management. The system includes a prepaid card generator, prepaid card management by groups and sub-groups, and online reporting of account usage and balance information. Verso's VCLEAR™ Back Office solution also provides tools for client management, account limit control, and online CDR reports.

Reporting Module

VCLEAR™ Back Office reporting tools enable users to generate reports on every key component of their networks and export them in a variety of file formats. Billing, profitability, and ASR reports can be generated at the customer, reseller, and carrier levels and filtered by specific dates. Reports can also be grouped by variables such as country, destination, carrier, or route level.

Web Interface Module

Customers can access their account information online through a user-friendly, customizable interface that enables them to check account balances, review CDRs in real time, and update their account information. Resellers can monitor customer usage online and export the information for billing and reporting. Verso Back Office is also designed to handle multiple currencies.

Double Database Server Architecture

VCLEAR™ Back Office includes a production database for real-time data modifications (passwords, PINs, etc.) and optionally a replicated database for data access and billing. VCLEAR™ Back Office solution applications run complex queries on the replicated database,ensuring that the production database maintains peak performance at all times. This architecture also increases the network's overall reliability by generating full (snapshot) or partial (transactional) database backups, allowing full system restore in the event of a database server failure.
