The NetPerformer series compresses voice traffic and signaling data while suppressing transmission of silence, redundant data, and idles. NetPerformer delivers sizable savings because it can be located anywhere in a network, between the BTS and BSC, the BSC and MSC, or the MSC and the PSTN. In any or all of these locations, regardless of protocol -CDMA or GSM including A.bis/A.ter, A or E-- the solution packetizes, sorts, and compresses voice and data traffic. Then, it eliminates any redundant and unnecessary data and suppresses silence to further minimize traffic.
