20 Years of Verso Celebration

about the event

An anniversary celebration
of a symbol in the fashion world

Verso multilabel concept store is a symbol in the fashion world : a unique boutique where luxury fashion, accessories, and exclusive perfumes are presented in a beautiful setting. But there was also the wish for innovation and fresh ideas after a decade in its present location, and therefore Verso has reappeared with some impressive initiatives and changes.

To honour Verso and and its founder Luc Dheedene, an impressive 20th birthday party has been hosted and will be turned into an unforgettable and unique event! An exclusive fashion show in Antwerp’s Central Station (one of the most beautiful train stations in Europe) followed by an after party that one can only encounter here in Antwerp.

The Verso Café stood not still since it started. The kitchen team has been led by a 3 star chef and coached to a superior level. The result is a sophisticated kitchen which surprises with explosive flavours and was awarded as best Antwerp restaurant in 2011. Till 3 p.m. you can choose from a varied lunch menu, which presents classics in a modern interpretation. After that time there are only tapas: sophisticated mini-dishes which are perfect to share in company, while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a nice wine or champagne.

Inspirited by "two sides to every story"

Inspired by the dualistic life of the modern consumer Verso has decided to concentrate still more on the 'two sides to every story" for those who like to combine casual and glamorous, which is reflected both in the e-commerce store www.verso.com and at the physical store. The beautiful basement of the building in the Lange Gasthuisstraat, which belonged formerly and successively to prominent families and banks, is the perfect extension for Verso. The original safes, which were previously hidden from the public, are now the background of the contemporary luxury department. The extensive range of luxury sportswear and denim collections has since then been expanded with new younger brands. The first lines have now more room on the ground floor, where the uptown world of Verso is situated. Architect Glenn Sestig renovated both floors in the spirit of Verso, in a way which links the rich history of the building to the future of the luxury boutique.
